Procedures for changing branch heads

The head of a branch is an individual who performs work authorized by the company within the scope of authorization by the company. Procedures for changing branch heads are carried out as follows:

Step 1: Prepare documents 

Document contents include: 

Notice of change in branch operation registration content (according to form Appendix II-9 Circular 01/2021/TT-BKHDT);
Resolution, decision and/or copy of meeting minutes on changing the head of the branch;
Copies of personal legal documents for the head of the branch; 
Copy of the branch's operation registration certificate;
Power of attorney and copies of legal documents of the authorized individual in case the enterprise authorizes another individual to carry out the procedure to change the head of the branch.
Quantity: 01 set of documents.

Step 2: Submit application

Application deadline: Within 10 days from the date the enterprise decides to change the head of the branch.

Process of submitting paperwork:

        Method 1: Submit directly to the Business Registration Office.

        Method 2: Submit online via the National Business Registration Portal.

Step 3: Process documents and return results

Within 03 working days from the date of receipt of valid documents, the Business Registration Office shall issue the Branch's Operation Registration Certificate after making changes. 

In case the dossier is invalid, the Business Registration Office will issue a Notice of amendment and supplementation in writing. The deadline for online amendments and supplements is 60 days from the date of issuance of the Notice of amendments and supplements.
